There is a known issue with the upgrade to DCO 8.0.1 if you select No thirdparty RPMs in the Webmin server management interface, causing the upgrade to fail.
Don't use this option as there is no known workaround at the moment. Rather request help in the community if you need to upgrade without 3rd party packages and our team will get in touch with you to help you upgrade without 3rd party RPMs.
DCO upgrade: Popups appear if you're looking at the log file while upgrading to 8.0.1
Popups appear if you're looking at the log file while upgrading to DCO 8.0.1
If looking at the log file during the upgrade process to DCO 8.0.1, some javascript popups will appear in the browser.
These popups are not important to the upgrade and you can just close them.
This will be addressed in an upcoming DCO release and the popups should no longer appear in future versions.
DCO server: Memory issue
Some users running DCO 8.0-8.0.3 may experience an out of memory issue on the DCO server. Reboot the server if needed.
The engineering team is investigating and working on providing a fix as soon as possible.
Energy Efficiency: No popup warning for insufficient energy system configuration
Energy systems need a minimum required configuration.
When configuring a new system, if it doesn’t include the minimum required elements, a popup message should warn you of this issue, which will prevent calculations from running. This popup will not appear.
If you don't see any values after configuring an energy system, verify that your configuration fulfils these requirements:
- Switchgear
- Energy Efficiency properties set on the switchgear and PDU
- A PDU connected to the switchgear
- A script configured on the PDU
- IT load properties set to include measured calculation source
- Derate Capacity must be >0
