Before requesting support for a device, verify that it doesn't already exist in the system.
Search for existing DDFs
Type the device details in the search box on the DCIM Support help center's DDF page here.
Verify whether the device exists in your installation of DCE
In the Data Center Expert Device menu, the Modbus Device Communication Settings > Device Definition Files option and the SNMP Device Communication Settings > Device Definition Files option list the Modbus or SNMP DDFs already installed on the DCE server.
